NextPVR V4 Web Issue

I've reinstalled NextPVR 4.2.5 on a brand new Windows 10 machine this
week and have transferred all my setup & recordings from the old PC.

However the only thing that does not work is the web interface:

http://192.168.0.110:8866/ or http://localhost:8866/
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

however if I use the PC name instead it works ok:

http://williams10:8866/modern/index.html

I get the impression that IPV6 works but IPV4 doesn't but
I can't see any differences (firewall, Windows defender, TCP/IP config)
with my former PC.
Can anyone offer any ideas?

If http://williams10:8866/modern/index.html is working, you'll probably need to stick with that. Realistically, there is no further bug fixes in NextPVR v4.

Thanks very much for your reply.  I did try using IP V6:

http://[fe80::91a7:f5c0:6fae:42ea]:8866/

but Kodi/knewc just hung.

By a fluke I did discover the culprit this morning, my
new computer had Acer Proshield preinstalled -
this is some type of security software; I removed
it and magically all my problems went away.

Afterwards I discovered another problem, videos would play under Kodi/knewc but the video length was reported as a low value, e.g. 1:30 min so you couldn't skip forward. I removed all further Acer preinstalled sofware, e.g. DriverUpdate Utility and my problems went away.
