I have the Benq DW1620 DVD writer which I want to install.
I already have a DVD player and CD writer (48x12x48x). Which should I get rid of?

What about the software? I have the ulead dvd movie factory supplied with the PVR-350. How does the Ahead Nero (supplied with the DVD writer) compare - which should I get rid of?

You can remove either.
Some prefer to keep a CD writer to avoid undue wear and tear on a dvd writer, some prefer to keep the dvd player to avoid undue....on the dvd burner.
Keep both pieces of software, they both have their place and specific uses.
You can never have enough tuners!
