I am not sure if this is a NextPVR problem or a Kodi / Libreelec issue but I will start here and if I need to move I will do that. Yesterday morning I upgraded to LibreElec Intel/Generic v10.0B5 but hadn't had time to do much with it other than have a swift look around at what might have changed, I certainly wasn't doing anything at 02:20 this morning.
This morning I found that several recordings had failed / been missed because 'Service Not running at Recording time' or '807 No Video Data'.
I initially thought this might be because the UK providers (BBC/ITV) are changing their schedules to accommodate football and/or tennis at short notice, so I wasn't too worried about the soaps (Emmerdale/Coronation Street/Neighbours) until I also discovered that a series of Star Trek films (starting at 18:20 on Friday July 2nd) also suffered from the same problem but on a channel (Film4) that shouldn't have been affected by the BCC/ITV schedule changes.
I don't have (and never have had) a Channel 807 in NextPVR and it also doesn't exist on my HD Homerun Quatro set up either.
Martin - I know your initial response will be that the RPi4 isn't up to the job (and yes you have told me so - often) but this is the first time in nearly 18 months that recordings (like the Star Trek recordings) have failed in this way.
The issue with Kodi/LibreElec seems to muddy the water somewhat as starting at around 02:20 this morning I start to see the following errors:
2021-07-03 02:20:19.649 [ERROR][86] Unexpected error in RecordingRequestHandler.HandleRequest():
which just happen to reference one of the errant Star Trek recordings (Star Trek_ The Wrath of Khan (1982)) - coincidence ?
I have attached the logs for you to see.
