I'm pretty sure it was (fresh install of v5) but I 'changed' it to 0000, just to be sure. No dice.

mvallevand, sub, thanks. I can confirm that new command works as intended to empty the guide. Ironically, I have determined that I no longer need that command.

I use a Widows scheduled task to call the i-xmltv.bat file that downloads the XML guide from Schedules Direct and enhances it using I-XMLTV (this has worked since the GBPVR days).

With no updateepg.bat file present, I have Update EPG in the v5 web settings configured to do its thing ~30 minutes later.

As we know, NextPVR proceeds to update any JSON channels with new guide data, and then it simply reads the existing TVGUIDE.XML file that's present (and has been previously updated by the Windows scheduled task a few minutes previously). This works swimmingly.

So, I'm good for now. Thanks again for the help.
