I can right click on the downloaded program.tvpi and open it with NextTVPI.exe and get the same manifest definition error so the problem isn't my version of NextPVR.  It is a compile issue in the the manifest file.  Probably stating it is 64bit when it was compiled for 32bit.

It would be a great utility to have.

You only have to use the web app once for setting up your channels etc. The rest of the time you can totally ignore the web app if you want, and just keep using nextpvr.exe like you would have in v4.

Maybe it's not clear but you don't have to use the web player v6. V4 actually has two web players that you didn't have to use.
