Corrupt recordings

If you got an example of a problem recording you can provide a download link to, I'll try it here in the web app.

I let it record a movie last night and it did screw up in Kodi and the web player, but it's a 7gb file. I'm not sure if you want to mess with anything that large or not. 

I'll post the log file. If you want the video file let me know and I'll link it

Did it work in uidroid? Note I do see you likely didn't follow the step to swap the short and long skips in config.xml

I'm brand new to this so I don't know about the config file. I tried it in uidroid but as you can likely see, I gave up on it because I couldn't get it to skip to where the movie errors without skipping a thousand times.

It's noted in the uidroid documentation. With a good remote (which the shield doesn't have) you can skip by minutes.

In any case the log shows a partial source of the problem. Your provider gave an error 403 which stopped the download. Do you use another IPTV player which might cause a conflict?

There is also NextPVR bug, it doesn't stop the recording immediately so the bad duration screws up Kodi. The file will be truncated anyway so it won't be worth watching.

I've got NextPVR installed and configured on my PC, and I've also got Tivimate installed and configured on my Shield, but it wasn't running when this recording was going on. My provider allows 2 streams, but as far as I know, there should have only been NextPVR using the 1 stream

Then you need to check with the provider and find out why they blocked you.
