Is there a guide to adding tuners to the docker version of NextPVR?

I'm using:

• EyeTV 410 over firewire and
  
• EyeTV Diversity over USB.
  

The host machine is running OSX 10.9 with Docker Toolbox

Unfortunately I suspect this is not possible.

Generally, unlike windows and linux, macOS doesn't provide any standard way to access TV tuners. The TV tuners that support the mac tend to come with applications that bundle firmware for the device and download them to the device, and use special proprietary mechanisms (like low level USB commands) to communicate with the device. ie, TV tuners on the mac are typically only supported by the software that came with the tuner, and are unusable by 3rd party apps.

On a macOS, NextPVR is pretty much limited to HDHomeRun, SAT>IP tuners (DVB-T / DVB-C and DVB-S/S2), and IPTV sources.

On Linux and Window, the operating systems come with standard ways to use TV tuner, so on those platforms you also get to use USB / PCIe etc tuners.

Additionally, Docker on OSX (and Windows too) have basically non-existent USB hardware support, never mind Firewire.
