How to override recording length

Lately shows like The Bachelor show up with a time of 7:00 PM - 9:01 PM.  Even if I set the post-pad to None NextPVR sees that 1 min in the 9-10 timeframe as a recording since that's what the EPG is showing.  The problem then becomes that at 9 I want to record 2 other shows and I can't select a 2nd recording because a tuner is in use for that single minute.  Is there a way to override the schedules direct details or another way to alleviate that issue?  Will I have to update it for each recording or can I run a script to adjust all future recordings?

You used to be able to set a negative padding when scheduling a recording to deal with this situation. It's been a really long time since I tested it though, so couldn't tell you whether it still works or not. Either way v4.x is no longer supported, so if it doesn't work, it wont be fixed.
