Saw a few mentions on the forums of this being one of the few missing v5 features. I'm aware it probably has a limited number of folks using this as a feature, but is there still any plans on implimenting this natively into v5 without the need to do SAT->IP? It would be really nice to see and I don't feel it should fully just be ruled out from v5.

TVheadend -> IPTV -> NextPVR is a nightmare since TVheadend doesn't seem to play ball with their m3u streams (usually, I get it to work once in VLC then never again. Just endlessly loads).

Then again, if this feature is being ditched completely, is their a solid guide for SAT->IP anywhere?

Cheers.

Maybe try minisatip instead of TVHeadend. It is well supported and to me that is the best direction for the near future without adding the overhead of an additional PVR backend.

No, unfortunately not. I no longer have access to any smartcard/cam services here in NZ, so no way to test this.

As Martin suggested, you should be able to use it in NextPVR via minisatip.
