Hello again.
Just logged in to say, I'd been away generally from the scene (on demand tv has kinda killed any need for recording for me). But I'd been recently playing with jellyfin. And after jumping into an iptv service and re-using my existing hdhomeruns, i threw down nextpvr linux onto my jellyfin vm.
Approximately 30 seconds after installing, I have live tv via the hdhomerun working in the nextpvr web ui (how far that's come!!!) , about 2 mins later, I have iptv content also working in the nextpvr web ui.
Then a few minutes after that, I had jellyfin using nextpvr.
Wow guys. Seriously impressed with how quick it was, painfree, and the quality of it all.
Not sure what my end goal is, but I seem to have lots of options.
