Change docker user

How can I run Nextpvr as another user? It currently runs at root.

I have the user and group specified in the docker compose but it still runs as root. It works for all my other docker containers.

nextpvr:
image: nextpvr/nextpvr_amd64:latest
container_name: nextpvr
network_mode: host
environment:
- PUID=1000
- PGID=1000

Did you try --user I think that is what i use.  Web search is going to be more accurate

I got it working. Should be user: 1000:1000. Do you know if there is a performance hit with docker?
