Kodi skips backwards after a few minutes of play, eventually crashes.

Hi I have a pi 4.0, I just wiped it and put in libreelec installed simple iptv and nextpvr and it auto configured (very impressed) both to connect to my pc running next pvr

As the title says, tv runs for a few then skips backwards repeats about 10 seconds and then eventually moves past thst spot.

Eventually it just dumps me out of the channel.

What is your video source? I'm guessing IPTV, then maybe try switching your input type from ts to hls (or vice versa). For most IPTV providers, this usually a case of having "&output=hls" or "&output=ts" in the url when importing the channels.

Correct  iptv is the source. It runs pretty reliably on one of the pc using smarters.

This may not matter.. 
The m3u is huge w 22k channels. That choked my kodi19, using a different service that let's me edit and also hosts the m3u. Works greatkodi 19 would play for about 30 secs then die. That's why I redid the pi to libreelec, kodi20 and added the server for nextpvr. Works better, but the backwards skipping. 

Your suggestion to try the ts extension... No idea if that will work w the link I'm using from https://iptv-m3u.app

I'm open to any suggestions. But keep in mind I can get around in this stuff, but I fight for  every inch of ground I get.

When it comes to massive channel lists like this, it's not worth importing these thousands and thousands of channels you'll never watch. They just make shit work worse. Everything is slower (like feeding channel lists and listings to Kodi etc).

When you do the Import M3U in NextPVR, and it shows you the channel list, *before* you hit OK to save the channels, I typically click the 'filter by channel group' drop down, untick the 'Select All' at the top of the list, then only tick the groups you're actually interested in. ie 'UK Documentary' or whatever, then hit OK to save that subset of channels. This way you end up with a list of a few hundred channels, instead of 22 thousand, and everything works better.

I'm a little distrustful of online services like these. I wouldn't like handing over my IPTV login credentials to them.
