Is there a command line way to empty all the EPG data like the button does in settings on Version: 6.1.5.00000?

But why do you need to empty it in the first place? This isn't something you should have to do when not testing something.

Whether or not you click it NextPVR will get you the latest listings. Based on your other thread I suspect you are using ATSC OTA which sub is working on improving for the next release perhaps that is related.

A forum search would have led you to this https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid563137 where a use-case was presented. It is not ideal for schedules direct users since you can get throttled if you do empty and repeat too often. It would be better to hear what your actual problem is.

I was simply trying to find out why you might need this strongly enough to script it and still don't have a good answer, I am sorry you seem to disapprove and I will move on.

As in the link above, you can use the following nscripthelper command to empty the guide. You generally don't need to do this. The regular epg update that happens overnight, it pulls in new listings and deletes the old ones etc.

Code:
nscripthelper.exe -service:system.epg.empty

The buttons are mainly there for us to test stuff, like when we switch to a different EPG source etc.
