Recording thru' computer crashes

Sometimes I am recording a program and an hour into it the computer crashes. When the computer is started up again etc GBPVR wipes out the first hour and records the last 10 minutes! Is it possible for GBPVR to keep the first recording and append the last bit to it?

It has been mentioned before but I'm with you on that one. I would say though that if your machine is prone to crashing it would be worth putting some effort into trying to identify the problem(s) and finding a fix.

On the other hand, with something totally out of control such as a short power outage it would be great if GB-PVR carried on after startup without discarding what had already been recorded. I'd be quite happy if it just checked to see if a file with the same name already existed and then created another with an incremental number, for example, MyRecording-01.mpg, MyRecording-02.mpg etc. that would be easier than attempting to append to the original.
