OK. Correcting the startTime and endTime tags fixed importing the episode subtitle and description. Now, however, the graphics are generic.

In order to re-try, with previously imported items, I deletes the recording before doing a new import.

Yes you should not have (Season Finale) in the title to match art, that should be a significance but I am not sure if the xml file supports that, it is not something I tested. The recording backup does so sub probably needs to update the separate xml output and I will update things although I am not sure it is displayed in recordings anyway.

Don't delete or you will delete the recording itself. The --file options will reread a changed xml or nfo file. Or use sqlite3 to delete it.

That fixed it. Thanks for all the help.

ALso, anticipating that recordings I was going to delete from the interface would have their files deleted, I took the cumbersome step of making copies first. Your --file option is miles better.
