My EPG is no longer updating (source is DVB/ATSC). I even tried reinstalling NPVR. The EPG update works once but stops soon after. Is this a known issue?

Yes to the OP the atsc update failing to run later after a successful run is an identified issue with no solution.
The second unrelated issue could have been solved with a forum search. The aid indicates whose data you are using for your free guide. Martin

Not sure why, since I haven't changed anything... but my EPG is working again!

That the nature of this issue, perhaps you restarted the PC or the service. It will always work once and possibly more than once. Then it fails.
