I use IPTVboss to modify my m3u and xml guide layout, uploading to a static filename in dropbox, and pointing to that in NPVR. It has generally worked very well. EPG updates work fine.
Channel or group moves & changes, though they do upload to the dropbox, don't automatically reflect in NPVR, so my method has been to wait for device to be idle, delete and recreate it. That does the job.
Updated to 7.0.3.250920 a few days ago, seemed to go fine and everything continued working.
However, later doing a delete-and-recreate of IPTV device, it failed to update EPG ([0 inserted, 0 updated, 0 skipped]). This failure was for initial EPG update upon device creation, or manual clicking of "Update EPG" in config, or for scheduled EPG update. I redid steps a few times with no success.
I restored from a local backup the contents of C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data and the EPG updates resumed working. However today I again attempted the device delete-and-recreate and EPG updates began failing again.
I suspect my backup restore didn't completely cleanly roll back to previous version, which may be what i need.
Or does someone have a different recommendation?
Logs attached.
Thanks
