editing channels

one of cable channels is changed.(Freq:289250 SID:211 from to Freq:247250 SID:211
)
I scanned and saved that one channel. 
now I have two channels. 

I want to delete that old channel. is it possible?

If you don't have recordings scheduled on the channel yes. On Setttings->Channel untick them all with the top left checkbox then check the one channel you want deleted and hit the trash can icon on the right. Be careful to make sure you only tick the on box.

If you recordings scheduled on the channel it is more complicated since you have to recreate your recordings first.
