I’ve been lurking around here for a while, reading everyone's tips, and I finally spent my weekend getting my NextPVR server exactly where I want it. I'm just a bit excited and felt like sharing the win!
I was struggling for ages with weird stuttering on my recordings. I thought it was my old PC acting up, but it turns out it was just my home network being messy. I moved the server under the stairs, plugged everything directly into a cheap unmanaged switch instead of using the built-in ports on my ISP router, and wow... what a difference.
The web interface is snappy, the recordings are clean, and my wife is finally happy that the TV actually works when she wants to watch her shows. It’s not a high-end rack build like some of yours, just an old Dell Optiplex and a couple of tuners, but it's doing the job perfectly.
Next step for me is to figure out a better way to organize my library (the metadata is a bit of a mess right now), but for today, I'm just going to enjoy some glitch-free TV.
Big thanks to everyone who posts guides here, they really helped a lot!
Cheers.
Chúc mừng!
