I installed nextpvr on my laptop using the nextpvr-helper.deb file on Linux Mint 22.2.   From the setup screens I see the tuners (Hauppauge USB 1595 dual tuner) and successfully scan for channels.  I can update the program guide using the DVB/ATSC EPG.  I can record programs from that guide.  I can view channels using the VLC Open Network Stream option.

What I can't get working is adding a schedules direct lineup.   I have been using schedules direct for many years with a desktop system at home running mythtv.

Starting from the channel list setup screen I select one of the channels (wrench icon on the far right), which brings up edit channel details.  I click on source then select ...add schedules direct lineup... which brings up a Add Schedules Direct Lineup window.   I enter the zip code and leaving north america - united states set I click on search.   The window then displays another listbox with the lineups that came back from schedules direct.  I scroll to the bottom and select the one that is named "antenna ... OTA-zipcode" and click on add lineup.

At that point I get a popup error window saying

localhost:8866
Invalid Username or Password
OK

That's as far as I can ever get.  A couple of times I have tried to select the lineup starting from the guide option instead of the channels option.   Whatever goes on there apparently "spams" schedules direct and exceeds their maximum of 10 IP addresses within 24 hours rule.

What am I doing wrong here?

If they have the default DVB ATSC setting you need to first change them to None manualy or automap but that doesn sound like your problem

If you go to guide settings what shows? It should show your existing lineup.

The guide setting shows the default "DVB/ATSC EPG" and right below that I have the

Schedules Direct [Exceeded maximum number of unique IP addresses in 24 hours. Please contact Schedules Direct support: service@schedulesdirect.org for more information or create a support ticket: https://www.schedulesdirect.org/lineupsupport (not active)]

error I've been getting trying to select a lineup from them.

Are you using Verizon or a VPN? that could be the problem.

Well, I'm in an RV park and using the hotspot on my phone for internet access. Does going through a cell network cause the connection to switch IP addresses frequently?

Yes almost always. Contact SD and they can set something up for you as the message says.

I did contact them 3 days ago and they told me

"You're limited to 5 distinct IP addresses per 24 hour period; it's a
method that we use to ensure that a pirate IPTV "provider" doesn't
purchase one subscription and then put it on 1000 MAG Kodi boxes."

Is that what's causing the Invalid Username or Password error? Somewhere in the middle of adding a lineup nextpvr starts getting back errors from schedules direct? This RV park doesn't have wifi you can access from all the sites like most of them do, but they do have an "internet room" that I can go to and use wifi there. If I just need a stable IP address long enough to download the program guide I can do that.

For the rest of this evening I'm afraid I'm on schedules direct's "naughty list".
