I attached a simliar log.

What I did is to replace the GBPVR.exe with that in the zip file you pointed to me. To make sure this new GBPVR.exe is running, I reboot my machine.

I read the original post that leads to the above patch. Yet I think what prevents the Chinese folder/file names from being played has something to do with the file name being garbled along the way. Of course, the long file name fix might help a bit.

I notice that from the following lines in the log:

The file name has become ?????????~1\??? while it was OK a few lines back (when it was still within GBPVR, I suppose).

The original Hauppauge MVP software which plays OK actual read from the exactly same Chinese folder/file names.

To be honest, I cant remember - you might have to try it and see.

The problem of MVP not being able to handle Chinese files name is still there. As the original Hauppauge server can handle this, I am not sure what is ther difference between the GBPVR MVP server and the Hauppauge server.
