GBRecord & PVR500

Hi

i use GBRecord in combination with a PVR500 an am very happy with it. The dual-tuner support right now is realized by manually selecting the tuner to use (1 or 2).
I would be very happy if you could implement a "wrapper" function to just use the first free tuner available (or return an error if both are busy). That would give me the chance to manually schedule two concurrent shows without having to fiddle with the commandline in the XP "scheduled task".

Do you see a chance for implementing that feature?

Sorry, but this is not what GBRecord was about. You have to explicitly tell it which device to use. It's not a scheduling engine. If you need that sort of functionality, you should use its big brother GB-PVR or something similar.

thx for the quick reply.no good news, but i see your point. the actual gbrecord still does the job better than anything else for me...

the only thing i wanted to add is that i was merely looking for a feature of "not having to care about what PVR500(!)-tuner is active right now" rather than having a scheduling engine for a multi-board-environment implemented throught the backdoor. it would just have been of some support for the engine i use...

but thats still fine with me, i think i sorted it out some other way (admittedly not really with the desired elegance)
