Although I love the look and feel and extensibility of GBPVR does not always behave the way I want it to... and sometimes I revert to the old faithful MVP software.
What i was thinking of doing was to use the MyPrograms plugin to run something (a batch file perhaps?) that will stop the GBPVR service and start the MVP services on my PC. I would then (somehow) be able to start up the MVP software. Not sure if this would this need a 'soft' reboot of MVP from the remote or a 'hard' reboot by powering down the MVP?
As this would not be modifying the start up behaviour of the services on the PC at the next PC reboot the GBPVR service and software would start.
What I want to know (before I start messing about) is has anyone done anything similar or is there any reason why this would not work?
Also has anyone got ideas on a way to switch back from MVP software to GBPVR without rebooting or accessing the PC?
