Accessing future days in schedule

I think I'm missing something here.  Let's say today is Monday and I want to schedule the recording of a show on Wednesday.  How do I go about changing the date of the TV listing I'm looking at.  I've poked around these forums and the Zap2It forums, but I just can't seem to find anyone else being as think as me.

If you press the skip keys on the remote (or ctrl-leftarrow / ctrl-rightarrow keys), then the guide will jump forward or back a day.

I knew it had to be in there somewhere. Made my first recording last night, shocked how easy it was to get everything working. Love the software, can't believe the awe level of forum support. AWESOME!
