2 of them.

1) 2 Tuner bug. I have two tuners. Setup two shows to record on one channel. One at 8-8:30 the other from 8:30-9. I then try to schedule a show from 8-10. I get the conflict box telling me I have to cancel one.

2) Scheduled 1 show using quick. Open it up and cancel it. The show is now deleted. I then decide I want to schedule it for a season recording. I open it up again and try to schedule a season recording. The season is created but the show is still deleted. Perhaps when you create a new season recording it should delete the matches that are deleted for that show?

Do you have padding enabled? If so, could each show be set on different sources, then the 3rd show has no where to go?

This is sort of what I was asking about in this thread.

Could you try it with post & pre padding off? (I'm curious)

I will try without padding. I have padding to 2 minutes.

I figured it should record the two shows at 8-8:30 and 8:30-9 back to back with out padding like a 1 tuner machine. And the other tuner should be working on the longer show.

From my experience, had you scheduled the 8 - 10 show first, then the 8 - 8:30, 8:30 - 9 it would have worked removing the post padding for the first show and pre padding for the last show. But by scheduling the 2 8 oclock shows, because they have padding, it will schedule them on 2 different tuners to allow padding on both. Then when you try to schedule a third show, it will indicate no tuners available. I think when this happens to me I simply delete one of the 8 oclock shows, schedule the 8 to 10 show then reschedule the 8:30 show. A bit of a pain but I'm sure this is how it works.

Well, so much for offering suggestions... I just missed a show today. The first episode of "Monarch of the Glen"! Damn! I wanted to collect them all to put on DVDs. I've seen it already on On Demand last winter.

I had 3 shows (STNG) back to back from 2-5, then Monarch from 5-6. When I just got home the recording tray app showed it recording, but no file. It ended at 6:01, and renamed to the episode I put in, but it was 0 bytes.

The last STNG file was closed at 5:01, so I wonder if I got stuck by the padding also?

STNG was on Spike and Monarch was on BBCAmerica. They are on different capture sources on the same card. I did not have any conflicts. I'll check logs.

I am so bummed.

I just checked the last STNG show. At 59 min into the show, it kicked over to BBCAmerica and kept recording until 1 min after. So this definately seems related to post/pre padding. I am going to disable all padding for now!
