The number in brackets is the EIT table number. The first two tables (0x50, 0x51) seem to contain the useful data in the broadcasts that I've checked, but the spec says it can be in 0x50 - 0x5F, so I need to check all sixteen tables. From 0x52 - 0x5F seems like a big waste of time, but I thought I'd better go through the motions in cases these were used by other broadcasters.

Hi Sub - I noticed this too when trying to implement an EIT parsing application - the spec also says 0x60-0x6F can contain data, but only 0x60 and 0x61 seem to contain any.
[SIZE="1"]Receiving UK DVB-T from Rowridge and DVB-S from Astra 28.2

PC: 3GHz AMD, 1GB RAM, XP Pro SP2.
TV stuff: Nova-T 909, Nova-T 90002, TwinHan clone TechniSat Skystar, 2xMVP.
Wireless link PC->router
Wired link router->MVP1
Wireless link router->Edimax EW-7206 54g Access Point->MVP2

Issues:
- Rubbish reception, due to dodgy set-top aerial
- MVP occasionally losing connection with PC

Is it nescessary to look at all muxes? In the UK with DVB-t each mux carries EPG data for every channel in the network.

I know it wouldn't work for things like DVB-s, or maybe other countries but could we perhaps have an option for "Scan only first mux" or similar?

I'm in New Zealand, so I do all my testing on DVB-S. The scan first mux approach also wouldnt work for many places in Europe. I initially considered reading these other mux EIT tables, but decided against it at this stage. I wanted to come up with an approach that would work in all cases, without creating too much work for myself. I'll probably add some other optomisations like this in the future when I have more time available.

I dont personally care how long it takes, as it usually does it during the night, but recognise its a bit painful if you sit and watch it loading the EPG.

When I click "map digital channels to EPG channels" the software pops up a dialog box asking or a configuration file and hangs. Any ideas ?

This dialog box is generated by the ShowShifter mux. Run muxchecker to see what other muxes are installed on your machine, then switch GB-PVR to use another one instead.

Either uninstall ShowShifter, or install the Cyberlink Mux (dont ask me where to get it, use the forum search feature).

Fantastic all set and ready to go !
Uninstalled Showshifter and now just using the MS mux.
Thanks for your help.

(BTW I am using an Avermedia AverTV DVB-T USB A800
bda.ini config shown in my thread "AverMedia DVB-T A800 USB - help required" in the hardware section.)
