Wellington Webcams - RSSReader

Not so much of a change to the software, just an XML file that will list of the CityLink Wellington webcams.

Only thing is, I've got no hosting space to put it on. I tried in the RssReader plugin configuration to add it with file://c:/webcam.xml but it doesn't seem to like it.

If you have the GBPVR web site unlocked then you should be able to add it on there.

Save it to a file, and stick on a website, add a new rss feed to the location of the file.

If the RSSReader Developer wants to make local files accessible within the reader then it would be a bit easier.

Just thought I would mention that I've had these cams on my copy of the webcam plugin for a while, and in case you hadn't spotted the date codes on a couple of those images, the cuba mall, james smith corner and reading cinema webcams have all been out of commission for a while. (As has the porirua roundabout cam )

Yeah I did see a couple were down. I was having a look through them yesterday whiule that crappy weather was coming in.

What is the webcam plugin??

Good point - I see it isn't listed in the wiki. It was just a pretty basic webcam plugin, found here. I like it for its ease and simplicity, although I know that MyPictures v3 (and obviously RSS reader) have this functionality too.
