Aspect Ratio Not Correct

I have an aspect ratio problem on the MVP that started with the last release of GBPVR. The logo at the bottom of the screen is only 1/2 showing....never did that before. The overall picture also looks a little out of aspect.

The MVP is not set in 16:9....

Anyone having this problem or any ideas on how to fix it?

In the last release we reverted to a slightly older version of dongle.bin because many users reported the newer one would disconnect more often.

If you prefer to use a newer one, just download and install a newer version of the Hauppauge MVP software from http://www.shspvr.com/smf and copy the dongle.bin into the gbpvr dongle directory.

Interesting...I had upgaded to the latest Beta drivers with the 94.12 release since I thought that would improve connections....which it didn't.

Loaded 94.13 and stopped getting disconnects but got the aspect ratio issue....I then loaded the dongle that shipped with the latest GBPVR and all is welll.

I guess we will need to be leary of the new drivers being worked on at Hauppage.

Unfortunately for me, the standard old dongle.bin would not work for me when I use the latest GBPVR release 94.12, my MVP would simply refuse to connect so I went back to the newer dongle.bin which I got from an older release, but I do need to restart GBPVR recording once when I boot fresh and restart MVP, otherwise, it will not connect. After that, no more problems even after hibernation. I do reboot the entire system once a week, just to clear everthing, not really necessary but just one of my quirks.
