Am I expecting too much from My News (RSS)

When I click on a news item in the RSS stuff, A windows opens up with the start of the story, but it doesn't automatically start scrolling through the story (or seem to allow you to manually scroll through the story). The story just stops at the end of the box.
I've played with the alternative to GBPVR, called "media portal", and on that software, RSS feeds keep auto scrolling to the end of the story.
Am I doing something wrong ?

I don't think it auto scrolls, but for an alternative I have been using 'CTRL + Q' or "pause" to bring up the feeds url.

the ctrl-q brings up the web page where you can read the whole article and scroll.
