i was having problems with the zapimort reallly 'zap'ping my resources and mucking up my recordings so i looked and found this *freeware* process prioritizer...ThreadMaster and it works like a charm! zapimport used to peg the cpu out at 100% for long periods of time goofing anything recording at the time..but this file watches the processes and smacks down anything hogging over a certain threshold...with exceptions of course...you should probably add gbpvrrecordingservice.exe and gbpvr.exe to the exclude list in the registry and i changed the MainSampleTime to 10..[its lowest,10 secs averaging] wish i could get it lower..like 2. but it works great for anything else that goes ballistic..
you can adjust the % of time each ap gets if specified manually or use a global setting..really nice if your apps aren't "playing nice"
