The ATSC resolution I'm recording at is 1920x1080. I can record both Programs Streams and Transport Streams. I'll set one up for you.

I found this thread in the Sage forums that talks about Comskip and TS files.

At some point in time Comskip was based on the mpeg2lib TS and PS decoding loop. However during its lifetime Comskip has lost the ability to decode TS.
I am considering to add TS decoding again but if you can save in PS that's simpler. I will put some more priority on a ComskipHD. Can you upload both a PS and a TS fragment, PM me for the ftp server details?

Currently I record ATSC files using the dvr-ms muxer. The Showshifter and Cyberlink muxers all stuttered and have av-synch issues. I then manually create a graph using the Moonlight M71 muxer to create TS or PS files. It defaults to TS. What I could do is give you a PS and TS of the same clip. Perhaps it would make testing easier.

Does anyone know of a tool that can split PS/TS files? Right now my plan is to just start recording in one minute segments and hope that I get the correct combination of commercials with transition to the program with logo. I think I have a tool that will do PS files but I haven't found one that will split TS files.

There is a tool call HDTVtoMPEG2 which, according to a quick look at the source, seems to be able to output MPEG2 TS based on a manually created cutlist
Google, first hit is the home page. A 1 minute upload is high priority, the rest can come later, if you help me testing ;-)

I am new to gbpvr and obviously comskip. I just installed comskip to the gbpvr directory. I do not see the processing tab in the config like in the image that tipster posted.

I upgraded to the current version of gbpvr that seems to have fixed that.
