After many efforts, I decided to separate the PVR functionality out of my home PC. Through ebay and on a very limited budget I managed to get a decent micro atx case, and an AMD 1600+ (1.4Ghz) with 256 MB of RAM, and a decent motherboard with S3 ProsavageDDR graphics card integrated.
I am using the regular monitor output for my LCD tv (which has a HD15 input). Everything is working well except that, well, the graphics card is giving me a hard time. VMR 9 shows an upside down picture. VMR 7 gives awful dark picture. THe only one which worked halfway decent is Overlay manager, but the 'mini guide' and top bar which GBPVR shows (or the mouse navigation buttons that show on screen when you move the mouse over) are all boxy (very obvious pixelation). What could be the problem? I loaded the newest driver and still no change.
Thanks!
