Want to try it out

Just found gbpvr from a post in the MCE newsgroups. Looks like a winner to me. Currently, I run two MCE machines and one ATI AIW 9700 pro pvr machine. I would like to give gbpvr a test run. My questions:

1. Will support for the AIW cards be coming soon?
2. If so, will it include the AIW remote?
3. SUB, do you still need an MCE remote?
4. My MCE's have Emuzed Maui's, support?
5. Any recomendations on a cheap capture card to test with?

Ideally, I would like to be a tester on the AIW series cards when, if you decide to support them! Cheers!

I do hope to support the AIW cards in future, but its very low on the priority list. For now I'm focusing on the hardware MPEG2 encoder cards.

I havn't tried it, but I suspect the Emuzed Maui should work, but you'll need to add a new section in the direct.ini file. If you decide to give it a go, let me know and I'll help you work out what changes are required to direct.ini.

I *may* still need a MCE remote. I did exchange an email with another user yesterday who said they might be able to help me out, but I've not heard back from them yet.

Sub, for now, since no AIW support, I'll pick up a Maui card or maybe a PVR-250 for my AIW pc and get back to you to get help with the setup. Let me know if you don't get that remote, as I will get you one. Cheers!
