Hello there,
I have been a Knoppmyth user for a while now. My setup is as follows:
2.4 Celeron (Dell built)
512 ram
80gb hd / 61gb hd / 80 gb usb hd
Nvidia MX4000
Aver DVB-t 771
Nova-T
I am based in the Uk, and have been getting my epg from the Radiotimes xml feed.
The problem is that the system, although it (mostly) works, is not that quick. changing a channel takes a while, and watching one channel whilst recording another results in extremely choppy live viewing. Both cards are set to hardware encoding, so they should be able to move along at a decent pace.
So, I am looking at GB-PVR. First off, will the hardware work? Secondly, will it move along at a decent pace? I am quite happy to use this box as a dedicated machine.
Thanks in advance - All comments much appreciated
