IR Definition option explaination?

Can someone please explain what these two options are for?

InterCodeDelay 20000
RepeatCount 10

The repeat count is the number of times the IR Blaster will send each digit. On a typical remote, each button press will result in the same code being sent three or four times. InterCodeDelay is delay between each digit being sent.

The default values are:

InterCodeDelay 200 (milliseconds)
RepeatCount 4
