well i finally figured out how to do this, a videophone plugin for gbpvr,

all info about installing and the zip can be found at http://reven.co.nz/index.php?option=com_...opic=230.0
you MUST be logged in to download/see attachments.

ill post it on the wiki and release some of the source (all the webcam stuff, not the gui) once its finished.

any suggestions/bugs/supports post them on my forum, i hate having one long thread here that goes for 20 pages. hard for new users to find anything.

This is really interesting if you get it to "co-work" with SIP in some way.
Do you think that would be possible ?

it uses the Real-Time Communication sdk, which is based on sip.

the next beta ive got it working so you can sign on to sipphone.com and monitor your buddies only status. and it no longer requires a static ip.

Beta 2 Released.

you can now login to a sip server eg (http://www.sipphone.com) which means you dont need a static ip address, you can set your online status (eg online/offline/away/brb etc). and you can see your buddies online status.

also with sipphone.com they provide voicemail if your offline, so if someone calls you and your not their they can leave a voicemail which will be emailed to you.

also it now uses an installer which means you dont need to edit any files manually. just click install and thats pretty much it (you have to config your username/password and add buddies in the config form, but thats it).

download from my forum: http://reven.co.nz/index.php?option=com_...opic=245.0 (have to be signed in to see/download attachments).

you can also chat to MCE and XP users via this plugin/app: http://mcesipphone.oabsoftware.nl/body-download.htm
