I want to buy a copy of Win 2k SP3 CD. Last time I bought one I paid $65 off EBay. Now I can't find anybody selling them. What's up? Does anybody know where I can buy a copy discounted?

Any reason you're going for W2k rather than XP?

Why buy a CD? I usually download these Service PAcks from the Microsoft WEBsite. I have both machines with XP and W2K. On both GBPVR has run without a problem.

and with a n-lite, you can create your 'own' windows 2k cd with sp 3 integrated (just use a normal win2k cd and download the sp).

furthermore, you can 'strip' down the installation to the minimum... i did it with my xp version to get rid of stuff i do not need for an htpc which normally installed with windows Smile

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
