It is a video renderer. It is used for drawing each video frame to the screen.

Overlay is usually "nicer" to your system, and since you don't have a... well... modern computer, if you experience difficulties overlay will probably work better...
I'm not always right

Big Grin Will try overlay.

Errrrr............................Is composite input into the TV card generally better quality then RF/CO-ax?

e.g co-ax cable coming from a sky box is worse quality than a scart>composite cable coming from a sky box?

Ok cheers, cause i noticed the colours and image was watchable but coming from co-ax was slightly off colour and fuzzy. Would this be fixed if i bought a scart>composite cable?

Also the scaling was all wrong i mean when you push select on the sky remote the now and next bar is like 2 times smaller than the real thing on without it coming through my PC.

Is there a way to change the screen ratio/something like that and whats the best resolution to use with my 32inch tv?

so many questions, so little time! Smile

Don't know if it will be fixed, but it'll probably not get worse Wink

Matter of taste. You'll have to decide for yourself
