Hi I'm currently ruinning a nova t, and a kworld dvb cards in my system both are working reasonably well (although i would suggest spending the money and getting the nova t seems a lot better).

Any way when i tune in the channels it shows up that i has found the "top up tv" channels such as uk gold and britisheurosport. I know normally you buy a card for access to these and put it in the set top box. but seens as this is all runninfg through a pc i wondered if it was possible to hack into these channels so i can watch truck racing on british euro sport :o).???

Theoretically its possible to get a CI (Common interface) addon that would allow you to use a real TopUpTv card but don't think Hauppauge drivers/GBPVR support them. Also best not to talk about hacking these things as companies take a very dim view about such things and may even try to get boards closed down!

It would be useful if there were a plugin which would simulate what the card does, eg: You enter the number on the back of the card and pay your fee, job's done. I'd be happy to pay for TopUpTV (for Toonami alone!) but am unable to do so with my Nova-T USB2. Sad
