Hi,
In Israel, we have one Satellite service, which provides an excellent TVGuide via web, and there is an equally good grabber.
The only hitch is the fact that many times, the grabber provides information in a form that puts the episode number into the <title> section. This renders Season recording useless in GBPVR.
Alas, the grabber is aimed at SAGETV, which allows one to define the season recording with wildcards:
"Gray's Anatomy: Episode *" for example...
I'd like that too. I think this can also (possibly) help with a couple other situations:
Thanks,
GGF

I'd like that too. I think this can also (possibly) help with a couple other situations:
- If my grabber reads 5 days ahead, and I just watched a weekly show and decided I want to record it, then I must remember 2-3 days later to go in and ask to record it. Wildcard, and recording by string match could solve this. I think if I try to go to TV guide and ask to record it weekly it will fail because it already passed and no more shows are available in the future (yet) in the EPG data.
- If I see a promo for a show, I could ask GBPVR to record it by name with wildcard, so when it starts airing (maybe weeks later).
Thanks,
GGF
