This is a question for Sub really but it's probably something everyone needs to know. Whats the deal with GB-PVR for non-personal use - I understand the free use extends only to personal use - but what if someone does have a business use for the product - We're not talking distribution or anything - Just using it as a PVR in a business environment. Is there a process for purchasing a license to do this - do we negotiate with you Sub? I have a client that may well have a use to automate some recording processes they run at the moment where GB-PVR would make their life easy.

Sorry, GB-PVR cant be used for non personal use.

If some has a commerical use in mind, they can contact me with details about what they want to do, and I'll see if there is any way I can help them or not.

not to get in the middle of anything, but the way i read that doesnt sound like business use to me. if i used gbpvr (personally), at my office. that woudl be personal use, irregardless that i had it at my place of business......right?

thats how i took that you wanted to use it. at work but not "for" work

He explicitly said "if someone does have a business use for the product".

Installing it to just play around in your cubicle without the boss knowing is probably personal use. On the other hand, a company or organization using it for recording video for whatever reason is not personal use.
