Pin Protection On Selected Music & Movie Directorys

Hi,

As some one who has kids who use my MVP who are more up with it than my other half I can't help wonder if its secure with my movies and music unsecured. For example - Saw the movie and Team America the OST are not exactly kiddy friendly ...... would it be possible to add pin protection to selected directories in a future version ? ( Bit like the Sky Plus lock feature )

Thats good news... not had chance to go though all of them yet.

Video Archive has the user tab config which you can allow which user has access to which video folder with pin number or blank pin number (for kids).

Video Archive does the trick but is wayyyyyyy to ugly, I like the default skin. and it would be nice to have a pin protection by default.

If the screenshots on the wiki are correct, and you know how the blue skin looks like, it's a world of difference.
Icons scattered around the screen for instance, I like the plain list view. or a list view with album art. But that's my opinion.
Repect to all who develop plugins though !

You might want to try it. The list view is pretty plain and, at home, I almost always just use the list view. In the other view, the icons aren't scattered. The right side is a vertical list of show names. The list on the bottom is a horizontal list of episodes. The stuff in the middle is detail on the selected episode. The actuall blue skin includes two more list views, with mini-icons next to the show and/or episode name. There are also better looking skins done by others. I don't use the blue skn, so I did a very quick one just for compatibilty. If you don't like it is easy to uninstall.

you could try the myvideos-plugin, it supports pin-protection, too.
