Youd did not change the dongle.bin between versions? I got the impression that the standard dongle.bin used with 97.13 gives more volume than the newer 3.xx versions. I have stability problems with the latest DONGLE3224142b.BIN from HP, so I am switching between a number of versions these days to see which one is most stable for me.

I use the default dongle.bin here and there is no change in sound volume. I would look elsewhere than repeatedly asking about code changes. Clean your cables maybe by a disconnect and a reconnect, or maybe your voltage is low. Wink
