Hi,

I have GBPVR setup to run when windows starts through the shell, and I noticed that GBPVR will startup OK, but the window won't take focus, so I can't use my remote to do anything!

I also would like to know if anyone has found a way to get Ir.exe to run when GBPVR starts up so I can actually use my remote. I tried using sscheduled tasks, but it didn't work. Maybe a registry edit would do it?

I am using the latest version of GBPVR with a PVR-150 and I don't have any plugins installed.

Have you tried just putting a shortcut in the start-up folder?

I don't have to do that, because I have GBPVR setup to run instead of explorer.exe as shell. http://forums.gbpvr.com/archive/index.php?t-7462.html theres the tutorial, about halfway down. I saw that someone was able to get ir.exe running, but I couldn't understand what he was doing. Is there a command that would make GBPVR run with Ir.exe and let GBPVR have focus?

Well I meant putting ir.exe in the startup folder to see if it starts, not GB-PVR. That may not work though since GBPVR is the shell.

I see what you mean, but I've fixed it! All I had to do was add a comma, then point to where Ir.exe was, then add /QUIET so it doesn;t bug me. Here is what my shell looks like: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe,C:\Program Files\WinTV\Ir.exe /QUIET

All I need now is a way to focus GBPVR and I'll be set!

EDIT: I have a fix for that, too. If you press the little 'I' on your remote, it should bring it to focus Big Grin.
