97.13 - MVP Quiet Sound Since Upgrade

I agree. Like I said I am just running the default hauppauge software from their website and still the volume is low during movie playback. My guess is they tweaked something and broke something else...Like always. :mad:

Has anyone figured out how to bump up the default volume on the MVP? I too have had this problem in 97.13 and 98.8. It's kind of annoying - I sometimes watch TV through my MVP and GB-PVR, but sometimes directly through my TV - when I switch from my MVP to my TV, the volume is BLARING. This is pretty annoying.

Anyone find an answer to this yet?

I, too, have noticed a slight but noticeable decrease in the volume of mpeg files played through the mvp with GB-PVR v0.98.8b and the included dongle.bin. It is close enough to what is was, though, that I didn't say anything.

Another thing, when I adjust the volume level on the mvp with the remote, the volume level indicator bars are no longer displayed. At first, I thought the volume control wasn't working, but then realised it is just that the graphic no longer pops up.

I did notice it too, but it also seems to be quieter in the original Hauppauge software. I'm think Hauppauge must have been fiddling with the MVP audio levels.
