I have just seen this on The Register ...

about a new "set-top box" development kit being announced.
It seems the developer and reviewer are not familiar with the MVP as this seems to be very similar in target function, with one exception... It looks like this will do Hi-Def via VGA output.
A "dongle.bin" will need writing for it to make it do anything though.
Any developers up for the challange ?
