I'm new to the PVR world and have played with both MythTV and now GB-PVR and have decided to build up a new box running GB-PVR.

I'm about to go out and but a new Hauppauge 150 card for this but despite reading a large number of posts can't seem to work out what remote is best to use. Should I buy the OEM 150 card with Windows MCE remote and receiver or should I buy the Hauppauge 150 Retail pack that comes with the regular Hauppauge remote?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of both remotes?
