I have just installed the weather plugin and would like to see the temperatures in degrees C instead of Fahrenheit. Looking at the Wiki, this is dependant upon which SI units my system is using. Where would I find this?

I think if you select SI units in the weather plugin settings in GBPVR config you will get degrees C

The essence of SI is that you do not have a choice. Centigrade (or Celsius) is part of SI, Fahrenheit (inch, foot, etc.) is not part of SI. See http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/history.html for more information.
(Apologies for this, but my main job is in international standardisation , so I could not resist this time Smile )

It uses it for the button commands, but that is it. I have nothing against putting more strings in there in the future, I just haven't made it a priority.

I asked this in the plugin forum, but maybe this thread is better...
I wish there was a setting so I can set the time in the weather-plugin to show 24 hour view. I can read the current way of showing time, but it feels odd...

All the times show come start from the msnbc weather site. The plug-in is just pulling apart and displaying the information contained on the web page. I suppose I could add logic to optionally convert the time format to 24 hour time. I'll add it to my to do list, but it is not a high priority thing to me so it may take a long while before I get to it.

Hello!
I translated text in the language.xml file like the Days "Monday, Thuesday..." In the overview my German text will Displayed, but in the Map section or details the Title will display the english text "Satellite for..." , "Friday in ..." In the text below i can see words that not translated by the xml file, i don´t now where this translation comes from. It displays "Bewölkt mit Dusche" Dusche is in my Bathroom not in the Sky :-)
And in the details i see F not °C in the overview it shows °C
Is that an translation over internet ???

I have read that you want to add wetter.com, or switch to it.
Do you know the beginning for this ?

I dont have beef with the cel vs Faren temps. The text commentaries do not convert on the screen but its converted in all the right spots..

but the accuracy of the forecasts is apalling for where I live (in Adelaide S.Australia). The US weather sources predict 32/33 deg C on friday and our local bureau has it at 38 deg C. This is a fairly consistent inaccuracy Ive noticed.
for example
International sources
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18665223
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/bu...centsearch

Local sources
http://www.weatherzone.com.au/sa/adelaid...de?fc=9401
http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDS10034.shtml (the truely accurate font of knowledge - Aust local met bureau)

I wish there was consistent international source to scrape. It doesnt particularly help the apps credibility when it depends on inaccurate data sources..
