nVidia 6200 HDTV Output Help

I have my nVidia 6200 set to 1080i output...It works..But its centered on the tv.. it does not fill the entire tv... I have aspect on tv set to normal and its full sized vertically which would seem right. but if i set it to wide aspect it cuts off sides and tops also, which doesnt seem right.

If anyone knows how to set this up right please help me out...

Sounds like excessive overscan on a CRT based Widescreen HDTV. If so, you are going to need to manually adjust the resolution of your screen with the nvidia control panel or using powerstrip. Unfortunately, you can't acheive a 1:1 pixel ratio on a CRT, only a close approximation.

Its a full screen crt hdtv... I have correct resolution...in widescreen view...id say probably 2 inches on each side are just black.......(32 inch tv)

GBPVR is set to 16x9 but videos that should be widescreen...dont appear widescreen....

Yes..... the desktop is like this though...not just video. I cant seem to figure it out at all..

It looks like massive underscan.

Are you using single display mode ?

On the classic nvidia control panel have you tried adjusting the HDTV Overscan Configuration ?

It's under nView Display Settings, click the device setting button at the botton right of the panel and select HDTV overscan configuration.

Got it fixed...found repair men settings

While off Mute 1 8 2 then power on

There were settings to adjust horizontal size
