I have a PowerColor 550 pro T55E-P03 and I have it installed and it seems to run great. But I have a real problem. In the reviews of this card I read and seen screen shots where the pic looks great.....but my picture looks like it has a ton of noise...or grain...whatever it is called tech. I have the latest ATI tuner 550 pro driver installed and I also have the ATI TV Tuner control panel installed. I don't really see any difference when I adjust the filter properties in the ATI TV Tuner control panel. Of course, I am useing GB-PVR when I record and play back a show. I have my card hooked up to the local city cable service via coaxial cable. What can I do to get rid of all this noise, or grain? I would like to get a picture that I have seen in all the reviews of this card. If anyone can help, please do Smile

Here's my system to help:

Asus A8n SLI premium
Opteron X2 2.0 ghrtz
1 gig ram OCZ
PSU 450 watts
Powercolor 550 pro
MSI 7600GT card

Does the picture also look bad in the app that came with your card, or is it just bad in GB-PVR?

When you run the tuning assistant, do any channels look good?

It looks bad in the app that came with it also. All the stations look bad on the same level. I haven't use the tuner assistant. I just went into the config and under capture source I manually typed in the channels that I watch.

And also, everyonce in awhile a horizontal line will scroll down the picture(just when watching or recording TV). I had this same problem with my modified Xbox before because there isn't enough ram to handle the graphics on some games. But the Powercolor 550 doesn't have any ram on it and my PC ram is 1 gig OCZ while the MSI videocard is 256 MB of ram. Any ideas what it could be?
